The scope of cultural events has expanded

The execution of the tasks arising from the decrees and orders of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the adopted state programs were also in the focus of attention by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in October, more than 40 conferences, round tables and meetings were held in cultural institutions. Discussions and conferences on the books that were approved by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated August 28, 2017 were held, 263 new readers were registered in the libraries.

Last month, a drawing competition titled “Great Leader Heydar Aliyev through the eyes of young artists” was launched and the first stage of the contest was held among the pupils of secondary schools of Ordubad region. On October 24, the 135th anniversary of prominent poet-playwright Husein Javid was marked, and the performance of “Iblis” tragedy by the outstanding writer was presented to the public. During this period 85 exhibits were presented to the museums of the autonomous republic and 38 thousand 285 visitors visited the museums. 10 thousand 194 visitors were foreign citizens.

The official website of the Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center received 12,393 views during the month. The Center sent 246 materials to tourism information centers and tourism companies operating in other regions of Azerbaijan, as well as to foreign countries. The Center’s webpage on “Facebook” social network included 101 materials and had 34,331 views, the number of page users reached 2092 and the number of group members reached 12,750.

This day is considered the day of our triumphal flag's eternal return to our history of statehood.

It was noted that, after the restoration of our independence, our national attributes were greatly appreciated in our country. Formation of national love for our tricolor flag, which is the bearer of our independence, statehood and national values, forms the basis of the Heydar Aliyev’s political path. As a result of the successful continuation of this road, Flag Square was established in 2007 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
