Concert of Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic in Sharur

On April 14, the concert of Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic Folk Instruments Ensemble, Vocal and Dance group was held at the Sharur City Culture Palace.

Director of the Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic Ariz Aghayev said before the concert that excellent conditions for the development and education of children in healthy environment were created in our autonomous republic. Along with the discovery of talented children, the efficient organization of the new generation's leisure time is also a focus of attention today. For this purpose, a number of infrastructure fields have been created and put into use in our autonomous republic.

It was noted that Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic, founded by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated April 19, 2010, is one of such cultural institutions. The philharmonic offers all necessary facilities for children to demonstrate their creative potential and talent. There are children's folk instruments ensemble, chamber orchestra, song and dance ensemble, choral collective, mugham singers. The concerts of young talents are organized and various events are held to show their talents.

An exhibition of works by Ilkana Guliyeva, the art director of Tumbul village Culture House subordinated to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan city, under the motto "Nakhchivan-Capital of Islamic Culture 2018" was held at the Music and Art School named after A. Javid on April 13.

Tarana Jafarova, the head of the Nakhchivan City Culture and Tourism Department, stated that Ilkana Guliyeva was born on August 23, 1988 in Nakhchivan, she studied at the secondary school No.705 in 1995-2006, and entered the Fine Arts faculty of Nakhchivan State University in 2008 and graduated from the University in 2012. During her studies at the university she was interested in handicrafts and exhibitions.

On April 13, the concert of the of the National Instruments Orchestra of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic on "Nakhchivan - Capital of Islamic Culture 2018" was held at Kangarli Region Culture House.

The announcer said that events and concerts will be held in 2018 on being Nakhchivan the capital of Islamic Culture in the capital and regions of our ancient land . Various music collectives show the richness of Azerbaijani music in their performances.

It was noted that the National Instruments Orchestra of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic was one of the first orchestras of it. The collective's well-known singers are always welcomed by music lovers. Today, the collective has a new repertoire for you. The art director of the orchestra is Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elman Aliyev.

Solo concert of the talanted student was welcomed

On April 13, at “Ganjlik” center in Nakhchivan city, the solo concert of Mammad Mammadli, a 3rd year student at Nakhchivan Music College, was held.

Before the concert, it was noted that the college was established by the order and initiative of our national leader Heydar Aliyev in 1974. The college which started to operate with 4 specialties in 1975-1976 academic year was called Nakhchivan Secondary Specialized Music Technical school until 1992. Since 2005 it has been working as Nakhchivan Music College. At present cadres are prepared on 10 specialties at college. During the past years more than 3000 students graduated from the college. The graduates of the college are working at cultural institutions, children’s music schools serving in the development of our culture and art.

It was emphasized that on the basis of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Mr. Vasif Talibov dated March 29, 2015 “On holding the 40th anniversary of Nakhchivan Music College”, the jubilee of the musical education institution was widely marked in the autonomous republic.

Excursion for Youth to "Ashabi-Kahf Sanctuary" Religious and Cultural Monument Complex organized

An excursion for the young of institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to the Religious and Cultural Monument Complex "Ashabi-Kahf Sanctuary" was organized on April 13.

Before the excursion, adviser of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elvin Ahmadov said that excursions are held according to the Ministry's action plan for 2018.

Ashabi-Kahf Sanctuary is one of the sacred places where people have been visiting for hundreds of years. Every year thousands of pilgrims, tourists and visitors from other regions of Azerbaijan and foreign countries visit here.
