The seminar-training at the Memorial Museum in Nakhchivan

The significant raise of social-cultural role of the museums in the modern society turns them into an active participant of cultural processes. The museums are the cultural centers preserving the memories of the past and cultural heritage. The social-economical development of the modern time sets tasks for museums. One of these tasks is to improve professional ability of the museum guides.

These ideas were stated at the seminar-training held by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for the museum guides at the Memorial Museum on December 14.

Speaking the importance of the event, the collaborator of the ministry Gumral Mamiyeva made a speech on the topic “The behavior rules of museum guide” and mentioned that museums of different profiles are operating in the autonomous republic. The museums are paid special attention, their material-technical base is strengthened, the professional level of the stuff is developed. After the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic “On strengthening relations with the museums” dated December 19, 2014, there has been a significant increase in the number of museum visitors. This, in turn, requires responsible and active work of museum staff, museum guides, as well as it is necessary to develop intelligible and fluent speech skills in the presentation of exhibits.

The performances of the cultural collectives give the Nakhchivan residents artistic-aesthetic pleasure

Today, the culture and art really lives its development period in the autonomous republic. Frequently, concerts, performances of various cultural institutions are prepared and presented to residents of the autonomous republic. It contributes to organize people’s leisure time effective, to form their cultural-aesthetic taste.

Nakhchivan often hosts the guests, culture and art figures from the capital city Baku. Different collectives, as well as vocalists and singers, outstanding actors visit Nakhchivan on remarkable days and on the eve of different holidays. These tours are organized very often. Recently, our city hosted another cultural event. New scenes prepared by the Honored artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Joshgun Rahimov and Rafael Isgandarov were presented to Nakhchivan residents. For information, the visits of the actors of “Bu shaharda” group have become a traditional case in our city. Traditionally, this year, the residents of our city were warmly welcomed the guests.

The humorous concert of the actors of “Bu shaharda” project took place in Heydar Aliyev Palace in Nakhchivan city on December 9-10. We also participated in the concert as a watcher. The audience, who accompanied their favorite actors with thunderous applauses, was in high spirits. Apparently, they were pleased with the concert program. We approached the guests to talk with them, to know their impression.

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after Mammad Said Ordubadi carries out purposeful activities to fulfill the tasks arising from the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated August 28, 2017. The discussion of “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” included in the list of “Books Necessary for Reading” approved by that Order was held at State Veterinary Service of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Abil Abilov, the Head of State Veterinary Service, Aytekin Gahramanova, the director of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after Mammad Said Ordubadi, PhD in history, Yegana Rustamova, the Head of Mass Work department of the library, Yusif Safarov, the professor of Nakhchivan Teachers Institute, Doctor of philological sciences, Docent Asaf Orujov, PhD in history, the head of Ethnography Department of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch gave speeches at the event.

The speeches highlighted the work done in the autonomous republic to properly formulate the outlook of the younger generation and bring up them in the patriotic spirit, as well as the importance of the Order “On Books Necessary for Reading”.

A seminar for library staff was held

A seminar for library staff of branches included in Julfa Region Centralized Library System was held on December 13. Pervin Hasanov, the Head of the Culture and Tourism Department of Julfa Region gave a speech at the seminar, briefed on the work done to improve the library work at the level of the day. He noted that as the result of purposeful work in the autonomous republic, we achieved success in all spheres. Culture and Tourism department and subordinated institutions have also taken part in this development and have improved their work at the level of the day. But, in particular, the fact that library work is constantly evolving and the innovation of this field increase our responsibility. Therefore, regular seminars are held, institutions are under control. Library staff is also involved in methodological courses in Nakhchivan, and it is made regular contacts with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.Ordubadi and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Children's Library named after A.Babayev.

Methodical course on Solfeggio, music literature and choirs conducted

On December 13, at Ordubad City Children’s Music School,conducted a methodical course on solfeggio, music literature and choirs for teachers of children's music schools subordinated to the Culture and Tourism Department of Ordubad region.

Azar Mammadov, the director of the Ordubad City Children’s Music School stated that the main purpose of teaching music literature in children’s music schools is to enrich the pupils' outlook. The acquaintance of the students with general and Azerbaijani music literature plays an important role in the formation and comprehensive development of musical education in them. The main purpose of the methodical courses is to raise the level of teachers' knowledge and to direct those who teach this subject. Teachers have also been given detailed information about the solfeggio.

Then, Nuray Huseynova, teacher of Children's Music School No. 3 named after S.Rajabov, conducted a methodical lesson on “Teaching of solfeggio in the five and seven year’s education system”. She noted that during the teaching process of solfeggio in music schools, the students should be able to set up the order of Azerbaijani modes, to form the capability of hearing the Azerbaijani modes along with the major-minor system and folk musical samples should be cited in various intonation goals.
