The youth exchanged views on the work to be done to introduce Nakhchivan

At the round-table talk on “How do we introduce Autonomous Republic?” organized in the administrative building of the New Azerbaijan Party Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Branch, active young people exchanged views on the work to be done to introduce our native country.

Mammad Babayev, the Executive Director of the Youth Foundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic opened the meeting and said that tourism was an area concentrated on the interest of people's limitless thinking. Therefore, in recent years, numerous tourism areas have been developing. Tourism depends on attractive nature, history, culture, hospitality and security. And they are already a real basis for sustainable development of this area in our Autonomous Republic. Mammad Babayev underlined the importance of the active participation of the young in introducing Nakhchivan's tourism opportunities.

At the event, Tahir Mammadli, the Head of Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic said that the Autonomous Republic has great tourism potential. The ancient history, rich culture and beautiful nature of Nakhchivan make it more attractive for tourists in modern times. Today, the young have a big task to promote the tourism potential of the ancient land.

Drawing contest on “Great leader Heydar Aliyev through the eyes of young artists” continues

The third tour of the drawing contest on “Great leader Heydar Aliyev through the eyes of young artists” was held in the Chess School of Sharur region on November 24.

Hokuma Mammadli, the Director of Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, the member of the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic said that the development of Azerbaijani culture, including its fine arts, is connected with the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev. When the great leader was in power, he paid great attention to painting.

It was noted that the drawing contest is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the great personality in accordance with the action plan for the 2017-2018 academic year related to the effective organization of interaction of educational, cultural and tourism institutions. The contest aims to further develop the creative abilities of the students in the autonomous republican schools, form a moral, artistic and aesthetic outlook of the younger generation and further enhance patriotism in the young.

Then drawings of young artists were evaluated by jury. At this tour of the contest held in Sharur region Nisabayim Babayeva (Mughancig-Mehrab village, 9^th grade) won the I place certificate, Sinan Hasanov (Sarkhanli village, 10^th grade), Chinar Mammadov (Demirchi village, 9^th grade) were in the II, Nuray Mammadova (Aralig village, 8^th grade), Mahammad Gozalov (Demirchi village, 11^th grade) were in the III place. The winners have the right to participate in the next tour of the contest.

A new building of the Culture House of Sadarak region has been commissioned

The complex development of the autonomous republic also included the Sadarak region, the border settlement. Wide-scale construction work has been done, modern infrastructure has been created, and comfortable living of the residents has been provided in the region. The implemented measures also provide opportunities for the development of culture in the Sadarak region.

A new building of the Culture House of Sadarak was commissioned on November 28.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis congratulated the residents of the district and the collectives of the organizations that will work in the building on the occasion of the commissioning of the new building of the Culture House of Sadarak region and said: The commissioning of Culture House of Sadarak will bring about a revival of cultural life in the region. The building will include Culture and Tourism Department of Sadarak region, Centralized Library System and Culture House. This means creating up-to-date working conditions for nearly 40 employees in all three organizations.

American investigative journalist Peter Tase: Nakhchivan is an important center of world culture

The well-known American journalist Peter Tase, special advisor on foreign affairs of Paraguay National Congress, came to the autonomous republic last week. - Welcome again to Nakhchivan. What can you say about the purpose of your visit?

-This is my third visit to Nakhchivan, the ancient land of Noah. I remember, last time we met in May last year. There were beautiful sunny days here as well. This time, we had the opportunity to visit many places on the second day of my visit. My main goal is to get acquainted with the world-famous monuments of Nakhchivan, to prepare and publish various articles about them. You know, I've been in your country for two months now, and I have been studying multiculturalism traditions and its influence on world culture in Azerbaijan. I believe that Nakhchivan, the integral part of Azerbaijan, also has a very strong contribution to world culture. That's why I came to Nakhchivan to get to know this ancient Azerbaijani land more closely.

The qualifying round of the dance collectives completed

On November 24, at Sharur Region Culture Palace and Kangarli region Culture House, the qualifying round of the dance competition of the dancing collectives of Sharur, Kangarli and Sadarak regions, the dancing and yalli collectives from Babek and Shahbuz held at Babek region Culture House ended.

As we reported, the main goal of the competition, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, is to promote national dances, which are an integral part of our national culture, revealing talented people and dance performers, directing the potential of creative collectives, and preparation for cultural events to be held in Nakhchivan, the capital of Islamic culture in 2018. It should be noted that the organizing committee and the jury were established for holding the competition and the regulation was approved by the order of the ministry. Non-professional dance circles, groups and collectives in the autonomous republic participate in the competition. There is no age limit for the members of the collectives in the competition. According to the terms of the regulation, the number of collectives, the duration of the numbers to be played were determined. Successful teams are eligible to participate in the main round by the jury decision.
