Museum of Shahtakhtinskies has been reconstructed

The national leader Heydar Aliyev said: “Those who are in charge of the national interests of Azerbaijan, have served for it and those people should always be respected in our history and should enter our history”.

The Shahtakhtinski’s Museum, established in the Shahtakhti village of Kangarli region by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated February 9, 2010,  is also important for the study and promotion of the life and activity of prominent representatives of the Shahtakhtinski’s family who had important services in the development of science, culture, education, health, state building and military art in Azerbaijan.

On November 25, Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov visited the Shakhtakhtinski’s Museum and was interested in the reconstruction works.

It was noted that the exposition hall of the museum was completely rebuilt, the fund room was created, the demonstration of exhibits on separate corners was arranged. The museum corners contain information, archive materials about the life and activity of  Behbud Agha Shahtakhtinsky, a prominent statesman and diplomat who made exceptional services to sign the international Moscow and Kars treaties, the prominent publicist and public figure Mohammad aga Shahtakhtli, Minister of Education of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, one of the first members of the Azerbaijani parliament, Hamid Agha Shahtakhtinsky, outstanding artist Elmira Shakhtakhtinsky, the books of prominent representatives of this generation, as well as paintings.

Restoration work is being continued in the Garabaghlar Tomb Complex

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic signed an Order on July 4, 2016 “On the Restoration and Investigation of Garabaghlar Tomb Complex”, and a research group was created. In accordance with the decree, restoration of the Garabaghlar Tomb, which is one of the outstanding examples of Turkic-Islamic culture in Garabaghlar village of Kangarli region started last year.

On November 25, the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov visited the Garabaghlar Tomb Complex and was interested in the restoration work and the implementation of his previous assignments.

It was mentioned that the restoration of the monument which is the continuation of Ajami Nakhchivani architectural school, the monument of world importance, the example of architect Ahmed Nakhchivani’s creativity, is carried out on scientific basis. The complex is consists of a tomb, a khanagah and two minarets head arch. The historical appearance of the monument is preserved during restoration. To date, the pedestal and covers of the tomb, as well as inscriptions on the surface of the tomb, geometrical ornaments have been restored, the twin minaret head arch and the khanagah have been restored.

It is planned to do renovation work around the tomb and the greenery will be built here. At present the road to the complex has been expanded.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis gave relevant instructions and recommendations on the restoration work in the Garabaghlar tomb.

Master classes continue

Master classes for teachers and pupils of children's musical schools of the region organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were held in Ordubad City Children's Music School.

Leyla Alimardanova, an employee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, said that the main purpose of these lessons is to improve the quality of teaching and to develop students' skills and abilities.

Then, Tural Najafov, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan on vocal specialty, Narmina Gadimova, the Honored Teacher of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on piano specialty, Abulfat Babayev, the director of Children's Music and Art School named after A. Javid, the Honored Artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on kamancha specialty, taught master classes to the teachers and pupils.

Tural Najafov, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan stated in the master class that it is important for a teacher  who teaches vocal subjects to properly identify the secrets of vocal, the way of singing, the style of composers and the timbre. Teacher should not only have a scientific knowledge of the student in the teaching process, but must also tell that he\she should listen to the performances of well-known vocalists on a regular basis.

The students of secondary schools in Nakhchivan visited the Music College

According to the instruction of the Chairman of Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Open Doors are held to acquaint the IX-X grade students with secondary educational institution in the autonomous republic.

For this purpose on November 8 the students of secondary schools number 2 and 5, on November 23 the students of secondary schools number 11 and 15 visited the college. During the excursion, Gunay Aliyeva, the director of Nakhchivan Music College, informed the students about the college and said that it was established by the initiative of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijani people, in 1974. The college launched on 4 specialities in the academic year of 1975-1976 and was named Nakhchivan Secondary Musical Tecnical School till 1992. Since 2005, it was renamed as Nakhchivan Music College. Now staff trainings on 10 specialities have been carring out. Nakhchivan Music College has more than 3000 graduates in recent years. The graduates of this college work at the cultural institutions, children’s music schools and try to develop art and culture.

It was noted that according to the decree of Vasif Talibov, the Chairman of Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, dated March 29, 2015, “On holding the 40th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Music College”, the anniversary of this musical school was widely celebrated in our ancient city.

The selection round of the performance contest started

The selection round of performance contest of dance ensembles started in the Culture House of Julfa region on November 22.

8 dance groups participated in this round. In the selection round, “Flowers”, “Gulustan”, “Buta” dance groups “Pearls and buds” halay (folk dance) group dance groups “Alinja”, “The braves” halay collective (Julfa region), “pearls of Vanand”, “Unus buds” (Ordubad district) have shown their performances.

The collectives performed “Nalbaki”, “Yaylig”, “Agh chichek”, “Uzundara” dances, “Kocheri” and “Tanzara” halay. In the selection round “Nalbaki” performed by “Flower” dance group of Gulustan village Culture House and “Desmal” dance performed by “Gulustan” dance group of this culture house was liked.

Today, dance collectives of Sharur, Kangarli and Sadarak districts of Sharur region will participate in the selection round of dance and dance groups from Nakhchivan city, Babek and Shahbuz districts.

It should be noted that the organizing committee and the jury were established for holding the contest and the regulation was approved by the order of the ministry. Non-professional dance associations, groups and collectives of the autonomous republic participate in the contest. There is no age limit for participants. The collectives are liked in the selection round will be entitled to participate in the main round by the jury's decision.

The main round of the contest is planned to be held in Nakhchivan city in the first decade of December of this year.
